Took my wife to the bookstore in East Sandwich so we took a break and came here for lunch. Incredibly fast service. Chicken salad on cranberry toast was great as well as scones! London fog tea n iced latte were great
Best breakfast you'll find anywhere. They are very good to the Mass Maritime students. Great place.
First off, no view of a river- and that was our only disappointment! Very helpful servers, delicious and generous chicken salad sandwich on excellent cranberry bread (I bought a loaf to bring home-- I think $13 for an enormous loaf). The breakfast sandwich (forgot the name) was very flavorful, although I wish it had been bigger. One places the order up front, then pick a table and they deliver the food to the table. I believe it's a work-training center for youth, and our food-server gave wonderful service. I would absolutely put Cafe Riverview into my regular rotation of places to eat.

Love this spot for walking from the beach. They have a lot of food to choose from and creative lattes if you want something sweeter. I recommend the pistachio muffin - it's so good! They have some outdoor seating as well as indoor. Bonus: get a drink and walk to the Titcomb's bookstore down the street!
Stopped in for a sandwich, specifically the Cape Cod Chicken Salad. And let me say I'm so glad I stopped in not only is the chicken salad sandwich amazing vegan chickpea salad that I got with it is delicious I've never had anything like it I can't wait to try the pasta salad that I got which will be part of my lunch tomorrow! Shout out to Robi who helped me at the counter she was amazing made me feel welcomed and went out of her way to make sure that I got my fresh brewed iced tea which is spot on!! So looking forward to returning and trying something else! I'm sure it will be just as amazing!
This place is a gem. Everything from the location and building to the staff and food are wonderful. The menu and bakery items is vast and sure to please anyone. Their coffee selection is great and high quality roasts. Highly recommend. I'm in town visiting for a wedding from Tennessee where I currently reside, but originally from Northern California. It has been neat seeing the East Coast for the first time.
